Connected directly

Microsoft Teams: Compliance where your team writes

Deadlines, incidents and approvals appear as cards in your Teams channels.

Microsoft Teams in Complass: an active channel with its events and detail level
You set the channel and its events under Integrations.

How it works

  1. Connect the channel

You create a workflow for the channel in Teams and enter its address in Complass.

  2. Choose the notices

You choose which events appear and how much content a notice shows.

  3. Notices arrive at once

When an event happens, Complass sends a card with a link to the entry. Many notices in a short time are combined into one summary.

  4. Handle it in Complass

Through the link you open the entry in Complass and handle it there, with your current rights.

Which data is exchanged

Complass → TeamsCards about incidents and reporting deadlines, new vulnerabilities, due and assigned tasks, pending approvals, evidence, backups, certificates and other eventsYou decide how much a card shows: only type and link, with title or with a short excerpt.
Not exchangedTeams messages, channel lists and whistleblower reportsComplass reads nothing from Teams. Whistleblower reports never appear in Teams.

Setup

  • Channel: create a workflow with a webhook trigger in Teams and enter its address in Complass.
  • No Microsoft Graph permission and no app registration in your tenant.
  • Administrators with the right for API, webhooks and integrations can set it up.

Security and data protection

  • The workflow address is stored encrypted in Complass; logs show it shortened only.
  • Complass stores no card texts, only type, status and time of delivery.
  • Whoever opens the link of a card signs in to Complass and sees only what their rights allow.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need permissions in Microsoft Entra ID or Microsoft Graph?

No. A Teams workflow is enough for channels. No app registration or Graph permission is needed in your tenant.

Can I approve in Teams?

No. The card points out the approval, and through the link you open it in Complass.

What happens if Teams does not accept a notice?

Complass retries several times. If delivery fails for 72 hours, Complass switches the connection off so that no notices go nowhere.

Which Microsoft clouds are supported?

The commercial Microsoft cloud. Government and sovereign clouds are not supported.
